just add water.

FLORIDA NATIVE AND AQUAHOLIC.

As a native Floridian, I spend most of my free time in the water – the oceans, the rivers, the springs. Whether riding waves, snorkeling the streams or paddling the rivers, Florida’s resources have been sacred places to which I’ve retreated my entire life. A source of respite and calm, a place of inspiration and reflection, and a reminder that even I can be a catalyst in this giant sea of life.

CURRENT is a place where creativity flows. It is also a place to raise awareness about organizations that are doing great things with, for, and in our oceans, rivers, and springs. We have some of the most beautiful natural resources in the world and I am so fortunate to call Florida home. Tourists and residents alike, however, continue to poison or neglect our waterways with pollutants, garbage, and irresponsibility.

This reckless behavior has profound impacts on our eco-system. Damage and toxins can and do travel through currents across the globe. Will you join me in preserving our water?  Check out these great organizations that help our people, seas, and shores.
